Round-leaved Sundew (Drosera rotundifolia) is a carnivorous plant that traps insects on its sticky hairs found on its rounded leaves. Once trapped the leaf folds around its prey and secretes enzymes that digest the insect so that it can absorb nutrients not otherwise available in the poor soils in which it is found.
